I recently had the opportunity to participate in a yoga workout with Yasso while I was in Chicago… and well, it was nothing short of amazing. My first morning in Chicago ever looked a little like this:

My friend, Stacia and I decided to claim yoga mats in the front row. Though both of us couldn’t remember the last time we did yoga, we didn’t want anything to obstruct the beautiful view. Not to mention there was a DJ… um hello. Right up my alley. I was definitely bopping my head along during the hour long session.

The workout was definitely challenging for someone who doesn’t practice yoga very often. Fortunately, a great yoga session always ends with a good corpse pose, my favorite of all the poses. One that takes years to master, but with a little discipline I do believe you too can master it. This excellent form doesn’t happen over night:

Of course, the workout ended with a Yasso bar! Yasso bar for breakfast? Yes, please. I chose the vanilla bean flavor and it was delightful. In the past I have also tried the coconut and blueberry which are also just as delicious. It was very creamy and indulgent as I quickly devoured it right before I got to see The Cloud Gate!

Besides the great flavors, I love the Yasso story. The founders, Amanda and Drew, met in kindergarten! How many of you dreamed of starting your own business with your childhood friends?!

I am so grateful to have been part of this beautiful morning with the Yasso team who truly did a stellar job of making this event special. The morning workout and all the positive energy put me in a great mood to begin my adventure in Chicago.

Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt bars are available nationwide. You can also use the convenient store locator on their website.
